THAI VISA – NEW THAILAND E-VISA
Thai Visa. The NEW Thailand Online Visa or Thailand eVisa is an electronic travel authorization that is intended to allow citizens of eligible countries EASIER ACCESS to enter Thailand mainly for tourism purposes. Thailand is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Its paradise beaches, enchanting islands, rich and spicy cuisine, and unparalleled nightlife make it a popular destination for travellers of all walks of life – both Bangkok and Pattaya broke the top twenty in 2018!! Several ongoing and coming infrastructure programs throughout the Kingdom underlie the accommodating policies the government is adopting towards increasing tourism.
At the moment, countries that are part of the visa exemption scheme for Thailand can travel visa-free in Thailand visa for up to 30 days. However, travelling for longer than this period requires a Thailand tourist visa. Any citizen from one of the aforementioned countries with a valid passport will now be able to apply for a Thailand online visa which will enable them to travel in Thailand for up to 60 days.
SPECIAL TOURIST VISA
The NEW program will allow tourists to visit the country without the need to visit an embassy or queue up at the Thai border. By allowing eligible citizens to apply online for a special tourist visa before travelling, the process vastly simplifies the procedures to enter the Kingdom.
The Thai e-Visa officially unrolls for citizens of China (February 15), the UK ( March 1), and France (April 1). It will be made available to many more nationalities later on in 2019. Applicants will be able to obtain an Online Visa for Thailand by completing the simple online application form that will only take a few minutes to complete. Applicants must ensure that all sections of the form are completed with accurate information. Confirmation of the approved Thailand eVisa will then be sent directly to the applicant by email.
THAI VISA CENTRE
The applicant will then only need to print a copy of this and present it, along with a valid passport, on arrival at the INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Thai border control. A dedicated fast line for “visa-on-arrival” holders allows them to pass quickly through border control. The normal payment of 2,000 Baht (approximately 61 USD) to enter Thailand with a Evisa on arrival will be waived by the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand until the 30th of April 2019. You will find a lot of good and reliable Thai Visa centre in Thailand.
