Pattaya Attractions - Mimosa

Pattaya’s growth from a small fishing village into the grand tourist attraction that it is today has been meteoric in terms of speed and also size. The amount of tourists and people who have flocked to the entertainment capital of Thailand to live, has steadily increased year on year. This is why so many top developers have decided to build some of the best living accommodation available on the Eastern Seaboard. Condominiums from developers such as The Global Top Group are state-of-the-art, in terms of design, build, amenities and facilities. And still Pattaya sees a growth in development to service the homeowner and investor. One of the main reasons, apart from the wonderful weather and location, for so many people descending on Pattaya is the number of top attractions and events the city has to offer, one of the most striking is Mimosa.

Mimosa

Mimosa opened its doors on Valentine’s Day the 14th February 2013, and rapidly became one of the largest tourist attractions in Pattaya. Situated on Sukhumvit Road on the way to Sattahip, it is only ten minutes from the centre of Pattaya and is in a prime location. Mimosa is primarily a copy of a French rural town (Colmar) situated on the border with Germany. The half timbered buildings are designed and built in the Renaissance style and each “house” is brightly coloured to give a Disneyland sort of effect. The buildings house a mixture of boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, ice-cream parlours, spa-massages and all manner of gift and tourist outlets. There is even a small canal running through the town to bring a little romance to proceedings.

Mimosa Cabaret Show & Fountain

Strolling through the enchanting lanes of Mimosa you will meet all manner of glamourous people, exotically dressed and performing terrific street entertainment. Most of these people are dancers from the amazing Mimosa Cabaret Show. Pattaya is renowned for world-class cabaret shows and Mimosa is no disappointment. Twice nightly the performers wow onlookers with spectacular shows that could be straight from Broadway. The costumes, choreography, sound, lighting, beautiful dancers and performers make this an event not to miss. There is even a musical fountain to entertain the excited throng, that is highlighted by a spectacular light show. If you like the glamour of Tiffany Show or Alcazar you will be highly impressed with the Mimosa Cabaret Show.

Photo Shoot Time

Mimosa has also been designed to offer fantastic sets that are ideal for selfies or organised photo shoots. For romantic couples or pre-wedding photographs there are many ideal settings to pose and take original and unique memories. You can even pose with the dancers, as after each show they parade around the village in full regalia so you have the opportunity to get a little closer to them. Mimosa is a fairy tale land, it is somewhere that is great fun for the whole family and is definitely a unique experience. If you have the time you would be foolish to miss out on this once in a lifetime magical place.
