This event may not know by most people but this campaign awareness was started since 2001 designated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Meanwhile, Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand and Thai Dairy Industries Association and other agencies will organize the World Milk Day 2018 at the Dusit Zoo on Friday.
Currently, Thai people drink milk 18 liters per person per year, considered rather low, compared to those people in Japan, Europe and the US.
Thailand urges people to drink milk two glasses a day, targeting to increase milk consumption to 25 liters per person per year in 2026.
Last Year World Milk Day was an incredible success taking place over 42 hours around the world with 588 events in 80 countries.
